1. What are your regular hours? What if I have an emergency         while you’re closed?  
 

  Our headquarters and all 12 of our branch locations are open Monday to Friday from 7 AM     till 5 PM. For emergencies, we also have a 24-hour hotline: 844-227-2722.

 
2. How can I set up a business account with CBS Rentals?  
 

  If you wish to set up a credit account, please fill out our online credit application.

 
3. Do I have to open a business account with CBS Rentals in order to rent equipment?  
 

   You may rent from us without opening a business account as long as you provide a valid        Texas or Florida ID and pay with a major credit card. If you wish to set up a credit account,     please fill out our online credit application.

 
4. Do you provide instructions on how to operate your                     equipment?  
 

  Upon pickup or delivery of your equipment, a sales representative or technician will  instruct   you in how to use it safely. Please be sure to ask questions if you have them  before               operating the machinery. We also provide the operator's manual with each piece of                 equipment.

 
5. Do your rentals include trailers for transporting the                       equipment?  
 

 We do not rent trailers for transporting rental equipment. However, we do offer delivery      and pick up service from job sites. Please call the CBS Rentals branch that serves  you for specific details.

 
6. Can I pay for rentals in cash, or do I have to use a credit             card?  
 

  Rentals must be paid for on a business account or with a credit card. CBS Rentals   cannot accept cash payment for equipment rentals.

 
7. What is Limited Damage Waiver and am I required to                 purchase it?  
 

 The Limited Damage Waiver (LDW) is a limited liability program that can reduce the cost of    damage or theft of rented equipment by up to 50%. CBS Rentals requires all  renters to purchase LDW unless they have an insurance policy that specifically lists CBS  Rentals as the recipient for a damage or theft claim.

 
8. Does LDW cover flat repair or tire replacement?  
 

No, tire damage and track damage are not covered by LDW. Customers will be charged the full cost for these repairs.

 
9. Do you charge a cleaning fee on returned equipment?  
 

 Customers are required to clean their equipment prior to returning it. You may be charged a  cleaning fee if your equipment is returned dirty.

 
10. How can I place a reservation for equipment in advance?  
 

     Reservations are encouraged in order to ensure timely delivery of your equipment. You          will need to provide a credit card in order to place the reservation. Nothing will be charged      if your reservation is cancelled. Call your local CBS Rentals branch for more              details.

 
11. If the equipment is being delivered, do I have to be there to         sign for it?  
 

     Yes. You are required to be present at the time of delivery and to sign for it.

 
12. How soon will equipment be picked up after it is called off           rent?  
 

    Equipment is typically picked up within 24 hours of being called off rent. In some                    circumstances, it may take longer.

 
13. How can I be sure I am not being charged when I call the           equipment off rent?  
 

     You will be given an off rent number when requesting to call equipment off rent.

 
14. Am I still responsible for equipment after I call it off rent?  
 

    Yes, you remain responsible for the equipment for as long as it is on your job site until it         is picked up.

 
15. What number should I call for service after hours?  
 

    If you need service outside of normal business hours, please call the main number for             the branch location where you rented the equipment. You will find contact information for       our locations here

 
16. Do I have to take delivery of equipment in person?  
 

     Yes. You are required to be present at the time of delivery and to sign for it.

 
17. Am I responsible for the repair of flat tires on my                         equipment?  
 

     Yes. You are required to replace or repair flat tires on equipment and trailers. Please              note    that tire damage is not covered by the LDW.

 
18. Am I responsible to refueling equipment?  
 

    Yes. Equipment is rented out with a full fuel tank. Customers are responsible for refueling       and returning with a full tank. If scheduling a pickup, please make sure to refuel the                 machine prior to calling.

 
19. What are overtime hours on the equipment?  
 

    We consider one rental day to be 8 hours of operation. You will be charged for “overtime”       usage if equipment is operated more than 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, or 176             hours per month.

 
20. How soon will equipment be picked up after it is called off           rent?  
 

     Equipment is typically picked up within 24 hours of being called off rent. In some                    circumstances, it may take longer.

 
21. Will my invoice be the same amount as I was quoted?  
 

     Your final cost may differ from the quote based upon whether the equipment was returned      on time and whether any fees were incurred for overtime hours or damage. Please ask          your sales representative to explain any fees that you do not understand.

 
22. Do I have to pay sales tax?  
 

     Yes, unless the customer is tax exempt.

 
23. What number should I call for service after hours?
